My name is Janie Grace Avey and I have lived in Ellensburg for over 12 years now. I grew up in Snohomish WA but relocated to Ellensburg to attend Central Washington University. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Apparel Textiles & Merchandising. Upon graduating I moved to Seattle and took a position at a high-end shoe design company. However, the fast-paced lifestyle in Seattle was too much for me, and the fashion industry I found to be extremely brutal. I moved back to Ellensburg and eventually I decided to get my paralegal certificate, which I earned in October 2024. I currently work full time doing Paralegal work.

I have always had a passion for a good tan! In high school I worked for years at a tanning salon, always taking advantage of free employee bed tanning. Over time I have grown to appreciate the spray tanning industry as it is a much healthier option to have glowing skin. I have tried just about every spray tanning and self-tanning solution out there. Eventually I landed on a product named “Dolce Glow”. This product is pure magic, and it is the best solution I have ever used. The hype of this solution really peaked with learning that it is a celebrity preferred tanning solution.

I decided to attend a training in August of 2025 that was offered by the owner of Dolce Glow, Isabel Alysa. She gave us hands on training, tips and tricks and she provided us with our tanning equipment. I learned so much and as soon as I got home I began practicing and spray tanning anyone in my close inner circle. When I am not working, I am spending time with my husband, daughter and our 12 year old black lab. We love checking out breweries and playing cribbage, as well as spending time with family and friends. We try to travel out of state a few times a year (we would prefer monthly if we could)!
